Right after your operation, the ice pack is very helpful during the first 24 hours after your operation. Applying an ice pack on the side of the face will definitely reduce the swelling. After the first 24 hours, switch to a warm compress. Although it could be difficult to sleep after your extraction, make sure to rest quietly and keep your head elevated. Using a taller pillow will help\u00a0\u263a<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n

There are quite a few things to avoid after your implant placement. Avoid spitting, talking, or chewing excessively on the operation site. Also, if you love exercising, be sure to skip your heavy gym routine for about 2-3 days. Lastly, be careful when you brush your teeth. Avoid brushing directly at your implant site.<\/p>\n
